OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY

Our cuisine has been shaped over the years, not only by seasonality and trends, but by the growth and the cultural diversity of Houston. Our menu concept and design focuses on the most traditional of Japanese cuisine while adhering to the multitude of cultural influences in our city.  Our sushi bar, led by Executive Chef Omi Higa (formerly of Kata Robata and Teppay), is a reflection of the technical execution of the traditional Japanese sushi, while our progressive kitchen continues to develop and push the envelope of worldly flavors. The combination of our sushi and kitchen cuisines produces a menu of incredible selections and styles including exotic sushi pieces, signature rolls, traditional and modern ramen styles, house smoked meats, and both raw and cooked fish from around the world.  Our cuisine and menu at Soma Sushi is unique and aims to give our guests an incredible dining experience at all times!
